This list was very difficult to make as there are numerous great players. Eric Cantona, Bobby Charlton, Rooney and many more deserved to be in this list but here are the best five.

David Beckham (1993–2003)
Beckham enjoyed his successful years at United. The English man announced his retirement in May 2013. The 28-year-old played in all top leagues at top clubs including Manchester United, Real Madrid, AC Milan and Paris Saints Germain. He is the part of the “Class of 92”.
Cristiano Ronaldo (2003–2009)
One of the World’s best player currently who is fighting for Ballon d’Or award, which will be announced in January. The Portuguese was awarded the Ballon d’Or because of an important part he played in United’s treble in 2009. Later he was transferred to Real Madrid and currently performing for them.
George Best (1963 to 1974)
United’s legend George best played for United from 1963 to 1974. The Northern Irishman made 474 appearances and scored 181 for Red Devils. The winger had a natural charisma, his skills were dazzling. Now he is remembered as one of the best footballer.
Paul Scholes (1993 – 2011, 2012 – 13)
The 39-year-old retired player played his entire professional career for Manchester United. He announced his retirement in 2011 but again started playing football for United in 2012. The England international had a great vision, shooting and passing abilities, he is also the part of the “Class of 92”
Ryan Giggs (1990-present)
Another player from the “Class of 92” who is still playing at the age of 40. He has been serving United for more than 20 years and still fit to serve them in future. He has made 956 appearances and scored 168 goals for United.
