Arsenal in pursuit of a new goal machine
Arsenal striking problem continues this season and it is expected that their first signing will be of a striker, many strikers have been linked with Arsenal for a possible summer move.
This time it is from SportsDirectNews where Oscar Cardozo is linked with a move to Arsenal in the coming transfer window. Numerous Premier League clubs have been monitoring him for the past years and this time his agent has said that he will be listening to the offers at the end of the season.
Arsenal will have to battle many clubs to land the striker. Cardozo has scored nine times in 21 games this term.
Cardozo’s agent Pedro Aldave said, “I think in June it will be a good time for a transfer, if possible.”
Aspas set to leave Liverpool this summer
While for Liverpool, it was reported that Liverpool flop striker Iago Aspas might be heading away from Anfield this summer as he continues to struggle to get some time on the field.
The Spanishman joined Liverpool last summer from Celta Vigo, Liverpool paid £7million for him to the La Liga side.
Aspas told the Metro, “I am not 20 years old anymore, I can’t go on loan and explode.”
The 26-year-old has scored only a single goal in 14 Liverpool appearances and that goal came in FA Cup against Oldham Athletic.
