Remy close in joining Arsenal Earlier today, it was reported that Queens Park Ranger striker Loic Remy is set to finalize his move to Arsenal.

Earlier today, it was reported that Queens Park Ranger striker Loic Remy is set to finalize his move to Arsenal.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wegner is close in landing the Frenchman for £10million according to reports.

The 27-year-old who spent last season on loan at Newcastle United is also a target of Newcastle manager Alan Pardew, but the player has rejected a move to Newcastle as he has expressed his desire to play in the Champions League. Remy’s idol is Arsenal legend Thierry Henry and he would love to join the club of his idol.

Arsenal who have not signed any player might make Remy as their first summer signing.
Remy scored 14 goals in 27 games for the Magpies last season.

While on the other hand, Mario Balotelli is also set to join Gunners after the World Cup if Arsenal agree to pay his high wage.

Arsenal target Mario Balotelli’s agent will meet Wenger in Brazil to discuss a move to the Emirates. Daily Express reported that AC Milan have told Arsenal that they can sign their player if they can pay £28 million.

Arsenal are planning to offer £180,000-per-week to the 23-year-old former Manchester City striker.
