Portugal and Ghana will meet for the first time in the history of football today in their last World Cup group game at Estádio Nacional.
Portugal and Ghana both have very less chance of securing the next round qualification. Even if Germany or USA lose, they need a big win as they are way to behind in terms of goal difference.
TEAM NEWS:
Good news for Portuguese fans is that Pepe is back and will hopefully do his job at the center back position but left back Fabio Coentrao will miss this game along with Helder Postiga and Hugo Almeida. It looks like Cristiano Ronaldo will start as a striker as Eder is the only striker available.
For Ghana, Sulley Muntari is set to miss this game due to suspension and Emmanuel Badu is likely to play inplace of him.
POSSIBLE LINEUPS:
MAN TO WATCH:
Asamoah Gyan (Ghana):
Gyan is the key player to watch in this match despite in the presence of Ronaldo. The 28-year-old can really make a difference for Ghana. He scored a goal against Germany which ended as a 2-2 draw.
