Walcott suffered a knee problem in a FA Cup game against Tottenham Hotspurs in January and missed almost the second half of last season.
Walcott told: “The knee is going really well, I am doing some good stuff with the physios and fitness coaches and we have worked really hard throughout the summer.”
“Things are looking really good and I have worked very hard for the last five months now.”
The concrete date has not been revealed that when he will be playing but a good news is that he is recovering in a good quick way.
The 25-year-old English man has scored 69 goals in 281 games.
While on the other hand, Arsenal are close in landing Colombian goalkeeper David Ospina as they have agreed a £3.2million with Nice.
The 25-year-old World Cup hero will become Arsenal’s second summer signing, first was Alexis Sanchez.
Ospina will be giving a tough time to first choice goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny who has not faced any competition in the last 2-3 years.

ReplyDeleteOspina is a good keeper!
I hope Arsene will give Ospina a fair chance to keep both keepers happy at the club.
