Bayern Munich have entered the race to sign Benfica attacker Goncalo Guedes in January.

Premier League side Arsenal have been targeting 17-year-old Portuguese forward Goncalo Guedes since long and reports have suggested that German giants Bayern Munich have eyed the teenager as a long term replacement of Franck Ribery.
Bayern Munich star forward Franck Ribery has been out with a knee injury, he has only made three appearances as a substitute so far in Bundesliga.
Ribery has also reached the age of 31 which is also the reason of the search that Bayern have started. Reports in Germany have revealed that Bayern are trying for a youngster who can fill the boots of the Frenchman in the future.
Guedes was promoted to Benfica’s first team this season after impressing with his performances for the Benfica B side.
While Bayern are not the only side who are eyeing him. Along with Arsenal, AC Milan, Paris Saints Germain and local rivals Borussia Dortmund are also interested in the starlet.
Bayern manager Pep Guardiola will be making a bid around £20million in the Winter Transfer Window. His release clause on his contract is around £25million.
Currently, Benfica and player’s agent are discussing on his new contract that will take his release clause up to £60million.
