Premier League side Liverpool are planning to sign Borussia Dortmund attacking midfielder Marco Reus, according to the Mirror.
It is also reported that Liverpool will offer him £200,000-a-week contract in January. The German attacker has already linked with Liverpool in the summer transfer window but decided to stay at Dortmund.
Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is keen to sign a star man in the winter transfer window. The Reds are struggling this season; they have won only three games out of their seven Premier League matches.
It is also revealed that Reus is set to leave Germany as Dortmund have started searching his replacement. He has also rejected to renew his contract.
The 25-year-old joined Dortmund from Borussia Mönchengladbach in 2012. He has scored 43 goals in 92 games for Dortmund who paid €17.1million for the German star.
According to his current contract, he has a £20million release clause.
If this deal goes through, he will become the highest paid player in the history of Liverpool Football Club. While Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United are also interested in his services.
