Premier League side Arsenal have been suffering from injury problems since the start of this new season. The north London club have not been found consistent this season due to the continuous injury problems.
Good news for Arsenal is that French striker Olivier Giroud is likely to make a comeback against Manchester United after the international break. He has only played two Premier League games. Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger told that he will join the tanning from next week.
Arsenal new striker Danny Welbeck has been impressive but not really effective. Olivier Giroud return might complete Arsenal’s attack.
While Arsenal captain Mikel Arteta who suffered hamstring is also set to make a comeback. The Spanish midfielder is suffering from hamstring injury which is his second injury of the season. Arteta suffered the hamstring during a Champions League game against the Belgian side Anderlecht last Tuesday. He is set to miss this weekend’s clash against Swansea City but is hopeful to make a return for United game which will be on 22nd November.
Wenger stated: “Arteta will be out for Sunday. He has a mild hamstring strain and he will be out for a short period because it’s a grade one. He should be back after the internationals.”
Arsenal centre-back Laurent Koscielny is also expected to join the first team action after the international break but German star Mesut Ozil, summer signings Mathieu Debuchy and David Ospina are still out till an unknown date.
