Manchester United new manager Louis van Gaal has already spent around £200million in the summer transfer window. He bought Daley Blind, Ander Herrera, Luke Shaw, world class player Angel di Maria and some others.
Despite of spending such amount, van Gaal is still struggling with his side. Currently, sitting at the 10th position with 12 points in 10 games in the Premier League.
LVG is going even worse than last year’s United manager David Moyes who had 17 points in 10 games.
Despite of failing with the new signings, the manager is still looking to spend more in the winter transfer window.
The Dutch manager is eyeing German pair Julian Draxler and Benedikt Howedes. Draxler was strongly linked with Arsenal in the past.
Reports have revealed that these two would cost around £51million that would take LVG’s transfer expenditure to around £250million.
Draxler, 21, has made 157 appearances for the German side while Howedes has made 239 appearances for Schalke.
If van Gaal fails to get the Champions League spot with these signings, then he would have to think about his future.
Do you think Van Gaal will get the fourth spot?
