Serie A side Roma are planning to secure the services for Liverpool right-back Glen Johnson as the reports revealed that his agent was in Italy for the possible move of his client.
Glen Johnson has already lost his form in Liverpool despite of it he is still a regular starter. Currently, he is out with an injury.
Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has been giving him preference over youngster Javi Manquillo who is on loan from Atlético Madrid.
Roma have Ashley Cole on the left side of defense who is an experienced defender while they are planning to make their right side also experienced with the signing of Liverpool defender.
Reports have also revealed that Cole could return to Premier League as Crystal Palaceare interested in his services.
The 30-year-old’s contract will expire at the end of the season and Liverpool have no plans to give him a new offer. Liverpool will surely sell him in January if Roma show some serious interest else he will leave on a free transfer.
Tuttomercatoweb.com reported that Johnson agent has been in Italy for the past two weeks for the move.
Roma have only two rights-backs in the first team currently, Maicon is 33-year-old and Vasilis Torosidis has been suffering from continuous injuries.
