Real Madrid have added another youngster in their ranks as they signed Lucas Silva from Brazilian side Cruzeiro.
Silva has officially signed for the Los Blancos, as per the reports and was unveiled in the Real kit earlier today, as per Real Madrid official website. (See the official club photo above)
Silva added after his agreement with the club that it is his dream to play for Madrid.
Silva’s former coach Marcelo Oliveira has said that the Spanish side have signed their diamond.
“He [Lucas] is very happy as one of his dreams has come true. Ancelotti has got a real diamond,”
Arsenal were keen on Silva but since Real entered the race they diverted their interest to Krystian Bielik and signed him on a long term deal last week.
Real Madrid have always snatched players from the mouth of other interested parties. Both Odegaard and Silva were the top targets of several European sides.
With the addition of the Brazilian, Real could offload midfielder Asier Illaramendi who has been on Arsene Wenger’s transfer list for this month.
