It is now confirmed that Manchester United defender Marnick Vermijl is ready to leave Old Trafford for Belgium side Lokeren Oost Vlaanderen.
The 23-year-old defender is set to undergo medical for Lokeren Oost Vlaanderen and is ready to sign a long term deal with the Belgium Outfit.
Back in 2012, Vermijl started his youth career in Manchester United as full-back. After two years of hard work he was promoted to the senior team later that year.
Unfortunately, he wasn’t given a chance to play for United. He didn’t make any appearance for the club for almost three years now. Hi frustration is now going to be ended as he is leaving the Premier League club.
Vermijli’s agent said last season that his future at Old Trafford is dependent upon former United boss David Moyes. This was because he was under contract with United until June 2015.
Manchester United’s Management is very happy to see the development in Vermijl and they want him to play for different club next season. But Vermijl isn’t ready for another loan period. He wants to get a chance in the senior team or he wants to leave the club permanently.
The arrival of Louis van Gaal also didn’t help his cause which further let him to make a permanent move finally.
