Real Madrid would have sold their star attacker Cristiano Ronaldo only if Manchester United had a £80million bid on the table, according to Phelan.
Former Red Devils assistant manager Mike Phelan said that any offer would be listened by Cristiano Ronaldo, however the club will block his move.
The former United star who played six years at Old Trafford before leaving them for Real Madrid in 2009 is currently in his peak form.
The 29-year-old won three Premier League titles, two League Cups, a FA Cup and a Champions League trophy during his six years of stay in England.
The Portugal international has been linked with a shock return several times in the recent years. However, Real Madrid have no plans to sell their star man but a deal of £80million could have changed their mind, according to Phelan.
Phelan told that Ronaldo loved the moments he spent at United and if the Red Devils had ever shown a serious interest in him he would definitely had listened to that.
Ronaldo still might think of a return as he has achieved everything at Santiago Bernabue. But still Real will want to keep him as long as possible and Phelan believes that now Ronaldo's peak form will not allow him to leave.
The 52-year-old coach worked under Sir Alex Ferguson for five years and also worked a year with Ronaldo.
