Arsenal can only sign Pogba for £80million, as his agent Mino Raiola advised Real Madrid few days ago that the Serie A side won’t allow their player to leave for less than £80million.
Pogba’s agent Raiola told Spanish newspaper Marca:
“If Madrid want him, they can call me.”
“Only seven clubs can afford Pogba. He is someone who has ‘cojones,’ just like [Zlatan] Ibrahimovic.”
Pogba would be a great addition for Arsenal but it would be difficult for the North London side to pay such amount of fee.
While Chelsea and his former side Manchester United are also in the queue. United boss Louis van Gaal is keen to bring him back to Old Trafford in the summer.
Meanwhile, Arsenal who have been strongly linked with Southampton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin could lose the race for the Frenchman with Barcelona taking interest. The Catalans are banned from the transfer window but are planning to agree a deal for the next year move.
The Gunners failed to sign Schneiderlin in the winter window despite of strong links.
