Arsenal and Liverpool have offered a fee around £15million for Real Madrid defender Fabio Coentrao, according to Daily Star.
Real Madrid have told their full-back Fabio Coentrao that he should plan to leave as he has no future at Santiago Bernabeu. The defender is not a part of Carlos Ancelotti’s plans.
While Manchester United were also targeting the Portuguese defender but now have taken a step back. They are now keen on Paris Saint-Germain starlet Marquinhos.
Arsene Wenger and Brendan Rodgers are keen to land a player on the deadline day. Rodgers has not signed any player this month despite of having a struggling first half.
While Arsenal secured the signing of Gabriel Paulista for a fee around £15million last week. The Brazilian can also be used as a full-back.
Rodgers is keen to get Coentrao despite of having a fine left-back Alberto Moreno who was signed from Sevilla for a fee around £15million in the summer.
Coentrao is rated at £25million which is a big fee for the player but the Los Blancos are ready to offload him for £15million.
The Premier League sides might have to wait till the summer for the 26-year-old left-back.
