Arsenal youngster Chuba Akpom is likely to leave the club at the end of the season on loan as Norwich City are keen to sign him, according to Daily Mirror.
Akpom has been struggling to get consistent games since the start of the season. The 19-year-old has made seven appearances for the Gunners in all competitions so far this term. But is yet to start a game. There is already a tough competition in the squad that the youngsters will surely not be happy at the moment. Olivier Giroud, Danny Welbeck, Santi Cazorla, Theo Walcott, Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil are all fighting for their attacking places.
The Englishman has already spent time away from Arsenal at Brentford and Coventry City. Another loan move for the teenager will surely be beneficial, he will have a chance to prove himself and return back to London with hopes.
Akpom was set to move on a free transfer in the summer before agreeing a new long term deal last month.
The England under-20 has not featured since their win over Middlesborough in the FA Cup five weeks ago.
