London outfit Arsenal have entered the race to sign Serie A youngster Godfred Donsah for the summer move, according to Italian reports.
Godfred Donsah has been a top talent in the Serie A, eyed by top Premier League clubs including Manchester City, Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspurs and Arsenal.
The 18-year-old Ghana international has been displaying impressive football since the start of the season. He is also being monitored by local outfit Roma. But the player’s agent revealed strong interest from several Premier League outfits.
He has scored two goals in nine Serie A starts so far this term.
Express reported that Liverpool are leading the race to sign the teenager, while Italian reports claim strong interest from Arsenal.
Donsah’s agent Oliver Arthur told: “There’s lots of interest in Donsah as of now, especially from clubs in UK,” Donsah’s agent, , is quoted as saying in the Daily Star.”
He further revealed the names of four English sides Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool and Manchester City. They all have enquired about his client. However, interest has been showed but nothing is concrete yet, as per his agent.
The Ghanaian midfielder started his European career with Palermo few years ago after failing trials for Roma who are now showing interest in his move.
He spent last season on loan at Hellas Verona where he made impressive performances which has now made him one of the top youngsters in Serie A.
