Bundesliga outfit Bayern Munich have entered the race to sign Wolfsburg star Kevin De Bruyne, according to Daily Mail.
The German giants are planning to beat Manchester City and Manchester United with a big 35 million pounds deal for the Belgian star.
The former Chelsea winger has been an exceptional player in the Bundesliga, he has netted 9 goals and assisted 16 times in 26 games so far this term.
German newspaper Bild revealed that Bayern are likely to seal their target easily in the summer despite of interest from top English sides Manchester United and City.
However, Wolfsburg are keen to keep their star player with his teammate Marcel Schafer also urging him to stay for atleast one more season.
Schafer told that they are likely to keep him because Bruyne knows how difficult is to get a consistent run of games at top European clubs.
“I think that our chances [of keeping De Bruyne] are really good. He has already experienced not getting so much time on the field at Chelsea, which is top club in Europe.”
Meanwhile, London side Chelsea are also planning to resign him after his impressive displays in German league and Europa League.
The Blues have a record of resigning players in the recent seasons. Midfielder Nemanja Matic was resigned and Didier Drogba was also recalled to end his career at Stamford Bridge. So, Chelsea might make another surprise move.
