Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has given the injury updates on the following players ahead of the Derby game against Chelsea this weekend.
Arsenal have bad news for the fans as star defender Per Mertesacker is expected to miss the Derby game, however, the reports claim that there is a minor chance of his return.
The German international suffered an injury in a FA Cup semifinal clash with Reading last weekend.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger told: “Mertesacker has been in the treatment room. I don’t know if he will be available or not.”
Winter signing Gabriel Paulista is likely to start inplace of him this weekend, according to French manager.
Wenger also updated to status of midfielders Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Mikel Arteta, both remains on the sidelines.
Wenger on Oxlade-Chamberlain: “He’s still out.”
Oxlade-Chamberlain could be seen on the sidelines for the remainder of the season but Arteta is expected to be back next week.
The Spaniard is back in training but is not match fit yet, he will not be rushed for the tough game against the Blues.
While Jack Wilshere who has also returned to training might be seen on the bench.
Arsenal will host the league leaders Chelsea on Sunday at Emirates Stadium. The Gunners are still eyeing for the Premier League title despite of the ten points difference from Chelsea.
