Arsenal target Roberto Firmino has clearly told that he will not be leaving the German side Hoffenheim this summer as he is happy at the club.
The Metro revealed that the Gunners boss Arsene Wenger made him a top target for coming summer transfer window, but the recent interview of Firmino has given a blow to the London side.
Firmino scored 16 Bundesliga goals last season and attracted many big names, however, the clubs did not show serious interest in him last summer.
The 23-year-old has been in exceptional form for the average Bundesliga outfit. He has scored six and assisted eight this term.
Manchester United have also showed interest in him in the past but the player has no plans to leave Hoffenheim despite of keen interest from the top Premier League clubs.
German Newspaper Bild quoted him: “I have a contract with Hoffenheim until 2017 and I'm happy here.”
He still has two years left on his current contract and soon will be offered a new deal.
The Brazilian further added: “I have developed a lot at this club and right now all I'm thinking about is playing for Hoffenheim.”
Despite of linking with Arsenal he wants to play for Hoffenheim for many years.
Currently the player is helping his team to achieve the target of getting into Europa League spot, they are sitting on seven place in the Bundesliga table, only two points behind the Europa spot.
