Juan Iturbe’s agent has confirmed the interest from Arsenal and Liverpool for his client for the summer move, according to Daily Express.
Roma striker Juan Iturbe has been targeted by several top European sides after his impressive displays this season. The player, however has only scored a goal in his 14 Serie A starts but has been a good performer.
The reports claim that the English sides Arsenal and Liverpool are weighing up a £22 million for the Argentinean star.
Roma signed Iturbe for £17million from Verona last summer but could lose him this summer for a fee around £22 million.
His agent Gustavo Mascardi who confirmed the interest from Premier League sides told that his client is likely to stay at Roma despite of interest from top sides.
Gustavo Mascardi: “I think he’ll stay at Roma next year. [But] there are two teams in England who want him and would be willing to pay the fee that Roma did for him.”
Despite of his struggling time, he is expected to stay this summer.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is eyeing him as Theo Walcott's replacement as the Englishman is likely to leave Emirates at the end of the season.
Liverpool and Arsenal both are eyeing to bolster their squad this summer and could make a big move in order to secure his deal.
The 21-year-old has failed to score enough goals in Serie A but the English sides believe that he can do better in the Premier League.
