Premier League leaders Chelsea are planning to make a bid for Atletico Madrid midfielder Koke, according to Spanish media Fichajes.
The reports have linked the Blues with the Spaniard in the past and are linking him strongly once again.
Blues boss Jose Mouinho is eyeing to make a £22million bid for the Spanish midfielder to seal his summer move from La Liga side Atletico Madrid.
Mourinho who has won Premier League titles in the past is now again the favourite to lift it but the Portuguese boss is yet to bring the Champions League trophy at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues were knocked out by French side Pairs Saint-Germain in the round of 16 of the Champions League last month.
The Spanish reports claim that the Special One has made Koke has his priority summer target as he is eyeing to make his strong to compete for the Champions League trophy next season.
The London side have already signed two of Atletico’s star player last summer, defender Filipe Luis and striker Diego Costa. And now want to land their midfielder who is reportedly keen to join the Premier League.
Koke is an important player for the Spanish side, he has nine assists in 25 La Liga games so far this season.
