London side Chelsea have made an official bid to Palermo for their star striker Paulo Dybala, according to player's agent.
Chelsea have been keeping tabs on him since January, while Arsenal are also in the race for the new Sergio Aguero but are now expected to lose the race as the blues are going to seal his deal by splashing big money.
Metro reported that Chelsea could beat Arsenal as they are planning to submit a new bid for Serie A star Paulo Dybala.
The 21-year-old who is one of the best youngster in the Serie A is being targeted by several top European sides. He has 13 goals and assisted 10 in 30 league games.
His agent Gustavo Mascardi revealed that Chelsea have submitted a bid for his client.
“Chelsea presented an offer a while ago, but it was very low.”
However, Palermo president Zamparini has already put a £29million price tag on the Argentinean. The Blues have reportedly submitted a £20million bid.
Mascardi told Tuttosport that Zamparini will not sell him for less than a £29million.
Serie A giants Juventus are also in the queue along with La Liga defending champions Atletico Madrid.
Last week reports claim that Juventus are leading the race and could seal his deal in the coming weeks. Read Full Story: Juventus to seal Paulo Dybala deal
