La Liga leaders Barcelona are planning for a surprise move of Arsenal right-back Hector Bellerin, according to the ESPN reports.
The Spaniard who has been sensational for Arsenal since getting his first debut earlier this season has been eyed by his former side Barcelona.
With Barcelona current right-back Daniel Alves is set to leave this summer the Catalans will be needing a right-back, however they cannot buy until next year’s summer due to the transfer ban by FIFA.
Barca are keeping tabs on Bellerin and are planning to agree a deal for next year. The 20-year-old who is one of the fastest footballer in the world has made 15 appearances in the Premier League.
Guuners boss Arsene Wenger will not be willing to sell him, however from the past it has been seen that a big fee has always changed Wenger’s mind.
Arsenal signed the young Spaniard when he was 16-year-old and might have to sell next year when he will be 21.
Bellerin spent eight years at Barca academy before moving to Emirates few years ago, the reports claim that the player might be planning for a return to his homeland.
Bellerin has scored two goals in 19 appearances in all competitions so far this term.
Meanwhile, Alves whose contract will expire this summer has been targeted by Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal.
