Chelsea are set to beat Arsenal in their pursuit to sign Lyon star striker Alexandre Lacazette by splashing big money this summer, according to Independent.
Arsenal have been keeping close tabs on the Ligue One striker since the winter window but are now likely to take step back with Chelsea entering the race.

The Blues who will be short of strikers this summer as Didier Drogba will announce his retirement and Loic Remy will leave, they will only have one senior striker Diego Costa.
The 23-year-old Frenchman has been valued around £25 million. While the Blues boss Jose Mourinho is planning to offer Loic Remy and a £15 million for the highly rated striker.
Lacazette has scored 27 goals in 31 Ligue One appearances for Lyon this season.
Meanwhile, Paris Saint Germain and Liverpool are also said to be interested in his move. The Reds boss Brendan Rodgers is in need of a goal machine and Lacazette would be a perfect player if he takes the interest seriously.
On the other hand, Chelsea are planning for a £75 million deal for Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba. The French midfielder has been eyed by Manchester City and Manchester United over the past few months.
