  • Goalkeeper Alex McCarthy is set to continue at the goalkeeper position as Julian Speroni remains on the sidelines.
  • Former Arsenal forward Marouane Chamakh is also out with an injury along with Kwesi Appiah and Fraizer Campbell.
  • Alan Pardew is likely to go with a 4-3-3 formation, with new signing Yohan Cabaye in the midfield.
  • Trio Yannick Bolasie, Connor Wickham and Jason Puncheon are expected to start upfront.
