Valdes who was bought as a backup of David de Gea is now set to leave the club after only playing eight months at United. It was believed that Valdes will be taking the starting role after De Gea's link to Real Madrid, however a surprise signing of Argentine keeper Sergio Romero took that role at Old Trafford.
Valdes has featured only two times for Man United since his move in January.
