Arsenal midfielder Francis Coquelin has picked up an injury recently and is set to be on the sideline for atleast two months.
Francis Coquelin picked up a knee ligament injury in a Premier League game against West Brom last Saturday.
The 24-year-old has joined Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Mikel Arteta, Jack Wilshere, Tomas Rosicky, Theo Walcott and Danny Welbeck on the sideline.
Arsenal are currently on fourth spot in the Premier League, two points behind the league leaders Leicester City.
However, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger revealed that Mathieu Flamini is fit and is ready to take Coquelin’s place. Apart from it, Calum Chambers is also capable of playing in the midfield.
Flamini would be having a big chance to shine and cement his place in the starting eleven.
Arsenal will play Dinamo Zagreb tomorrow in a Champions League group game and are keen to qualify for the knockout stages. The North London side are in dangerous position as they have only 3 points out of the last 12. They have to win the next two games.
Coquelin is expected to miss these two Champions League game plus two top Premier League games against Manchester City and Liverpool in the next months.
