Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere is expected to return after Christmas, according to the latest reports.
Jack Wilshere has been plagued with a number of injuries in his short Arsenal career so far. The Gunners midfielder picked up a calf injury in July and is yet to return to action.
The 23-year-old is currently recovering from the injury and he is expecting to be fit for the New Year. However, he told that he would not return until he is 100% fit.
“I’m not going to rush it. I’ll make sure my body’s right and at the moment I’m feeling good.”
The Englishman who won the PFA young player of the year award in 2010-2011 season has suffered several injuries since breaking into the first team in 2008.
He missed most of the last season with injury but returned in good form and also played for England, but unfortunately he picked up another injury on the last day of preseason last summer and has been on the sidelines since then.
The England international is keen to return to his top form in the short span so that he can fight for his place in the England squad for the upcoming European competition in the 2016 summer.
