The 26-year-old missed the important games against Sunderland and Olympiakos, however the Gunners managed to win both games without him.
The good news for the supporters is that the Chilean will now be missing his final game against Aston Villa this weekend. He will return to full training next week and will be back to action against Manchester City on 21st of December.
This would be a huge boost for the London side as this match would be pivotal in the title challenge.
