Premier League side Liverpool and Chelsea are set to take risk by trying to sign Alexandre Pato, according to Daily Mail.
Both the sides have been keeping tabs on the Brazilian forward and the reports claim that he would cost around £7million.
However, it is suggested that it could be a waste of money for the side which seal his move because the former AC Milan attacker has failed to reach his top form. Pato has suffered with back to back injuries and apart from it he failed to impress as expected.
He was tipped to be a big star when he was young but failed to fulfill the expectations. He has not scored a goal in Europe since 2012. However, he moved to Brazil few years ago.
Pato netted 63 goals in 150 appearances during his stay in Italy with AC Milan.
Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich who was also interested in him in the past is now keen to get the deal. The Blues are struggling in the Premier League this season and are trying to finish the season in top ten.
While, Liverpool are already suffering with striking issues and it would be good for the Reds if they seal this deal.
