Everton have not contacted super manager Jose Mourinho for the managerial role, according to latest reports from SkySports.
Everton sacked Roberto Martinez last week after a disappointing season, they finished on 11th spot in the Premier League. Martinez managed the club for three years and now is free and looking for a new job.
The Merseyside Blues are looking for the new boss and reports have linked them with former Real Madrid and Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho who is currently free.
It was reported last week that the Portuguese boss would be interested in taking the managerial seat at the Goodison Park.
However, SkySports have now confirmed that there is no contact between the club and the manager.
Meanwhile, on the other side Manchester United were in strong link with him as a replacement of Louis van Gaal.
Mourinho has previously told that he would not able to turn down a good offer from Premier League. Plus he would like to take the role before the pre-season campaign starts in July.
Mourinho’s agent Jorge Mendes is working hard to find a new better job as the former Inter Milan boss is keen to return to his managerial days.
