Liverpool have announced the signing of Georginio Wijnaldum from Newcastle United, according to SkySports.
The Dutch midfielder who joined the Magpies last summer had a great debut season in Premier League but unfortunately failed to keep Newcastle in the top flight.
Wijnaldum netted 11 goals in 38 games for Newcastle United.
Wijnaldum has penned a long term deal at the Anfield Stadium and will be wearing the number five jersey, previously worn by Daniel Agger.
The 25-year-old will be joining the Reds squad at the preseason tour in USA.
Wijnaldum told Liverpool's official website that he is very excited to join one of the biggest club with a great history. Furthermore, he admired Klopp and is keen to work with him.
Wijnaldum has capped 30 times for Netherlands.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has now signed seven players Loris Karius, Joel Matip, Marko Grujic, Sadio Mane, Ragnar Klavan, Alex Manninger and Wijnaldum.
The Reds have been going great in the transfer market, they are still searching for talented players and could take the number of signing to ten. The Summer Transfer Window has still more than month left.
