Injury Updates - Arsenal vs Chelsea

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has given updated ahead of this game.

Midfielder Aaron Ramsey is still struggling with the hamstring injury and is expected to return next week against Basel in a Champions League fixture.

Olivier Giroud is doubtful with a toe injury, he might return tomorrow for the game. Wenger told that he will see his fitness in today’s training. This means Alexis Sanchez could take the striking role once again.

Per Mertesacker, Danny Welbeck and Carl Jenkinson remain out with a knee injury, they all are out for several weeks.

Mertesacker is out for atleast two more weeks, while Welbeck and Jenkinson are expected to recover in atleast five weeks.

Meanwhile, Chelsea boss Antonio Conte will remain without Kurt Zouma and Marco van Ginkel.

John Terry has failed to make a comeback for this game, The Englishman has been suffering from an ankle injury and boss Conte revealed earlier today that he will still take few more weeks to return. David Luiz now expected to continue at the heart of defence.
