Arsenal have been suffering with back to back injuries especially in case of the midfielders, Santi Cazorla is still on the sidelines, while Aaron Ramsey recently returned and is struggling with his form.
Mohamed Elneny is also out for a month because of the international duty ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations.
Arsene Wenger is eyeing Pjanic as a replacement of Santi Cazorla who has been out since October and has no signs to return soon.
Arsenal have been struggling in the recent games, they made a sensational comeback to grab a point against Bouremouth yesterday. Now they are likely to lose the fourth spot if Spurs win against Chelsea tonight.
Furthermore, Jack Wilshere is also on loan at Bouremouth and Wenger has no plans to call him back this month. The Englishman might be leaving on permanent deal in the summer.
Pjanic, 26, joined the Italian side in last summer from AS Roma for a fee around £25million and he has been enjoying his life, he is in no mood to leave the club this month but he might change his mind for the summer move.
He has scored five goals in 12 Serie A appearances for the Turin side.
