The 26-year-old has been in exceptional form for the past few years, he netted 37 goals in the recent season.
Wenger has been keeping tabs on him since 2015 and now is confident to seal his move despite of not being part of the Champions League campaign next season.
Lacazette has previously rejected Arsenal as he wanted to join a Champions League club but recently he told that Premier League is interesting and Champions League is not the only factor he will consider.
La Liga side Atletico Madrid aksi showed interest in him but due to transfer ban they failed to seal his deal.
Lacazette has scored 91 goals in 133 appearances in Ligue 1 in the past four seasons.
Also, it is expected that Arsenal star pair Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez both will be leaving the club this summer. Both the stars have demanded high wages in order to stay at the Emirates Stadium.
