Barcelona have completed the signing of Gerard Deulofeu from Premier League side Everton on a two-year deal.

The Catalans have taken the advantage of buy back clause in the contract which he signed at the Goodison Park in 2015.

Deulofeu failed to cement his place in the starting eleven especially after the arrival of Yannick Bolasie from Crystal Palace last year.

He netted 8 goals in 75 appearances for the Toffees.

The Spaniard spent the second half of last season in Italy with AC Milan on a six month loan deal. He netted 4 goals in 18 appearances for the Serie A side in all campaigns.

The 23-year-old is currently with the Spain under 21 squad, he is expected to play against Germany in the European Championship final.

Barcelona released the statement following his signature earlier today that Barca have activated the buy-back clause for Gerard Deulofeu. Both the clubs have agreed, the player has penned a two year deal.

He will be rejoining the team once his international duty is over.
