After a disappointed start to his new career in England the Dutch manager is willing to bring more strength in January to get a desire result at the end of the season.
LVG has signed World Class players since his arrival at Old Trafford, Angel di Maria from Real Madrid and Radamel Falcao on a two-year-loan deal. Spanish midfielder Ander Herrera also joined the Red Devils in the summer.
Roma center-midfielder Kevin Strootman is also being eyed by Manchester United and it was reported that he might be leaving the Serie A side in January.
Along with a quality midfielder, United need to strengthen their defensive areas too. Despite of singing Luke Shaw and Marcos Rojo they still need another defender especially a center-back.
United are currently on fourth spot, and are preparing to face Chelsea and Manchester City in the Premier League.
Juventus Chilean midfielder was also strongly linked with the English side but currently have no plans to leave Italy.
The latest player linked is Gundogan who said after returning from an injury: “I am now available. The plan is that I am fully integrated into the team as soon as the national players are back.”
He will hopefully be featuring in a game against FC Cologne this weekend.
