World Cup winner Lukas Podolski is set to leave Arsenal in the winter transfer window as he struggles to get a starting place in the Gunner's lineup this season.
German media BILD reported that Lukas Podolski is set to leave for a cheap price around £4million in the winter transfer window.
Arsenal worked too hard to secure Podolski’s services in the summer of 2012 for a fee around £10million. He has scored 29 goals in 75 appearances since his move to the Emirates.
The Germany international has not been a regular for Arsenal since the start of this season. The 29-year-old is currently playing his third season and has made only four Premier League appearances, all from the bench. And with Theo Walcott returnining from his injury decreases his further chances even from the bench in the future.
Few days ago, he told the media that he wants to play, taking him to the competition and just allowing him to watch does not make him happy. He further added in the end that he is not satisfied at all in London.
Germany boss Jaochim Loew has also urged Podolski to leave the Gunners and look for a team where he can play regular football.
Podolski’s news has alerted his homeland clubs Wolfsburg, Borussia Dortmund and Schalke.
