The Dutch midfielder suffered a knee injury during an international game against Latvia last month. The knee injury caused him to miss the United’s winning streak of five games which ended last weekend against Aston Villa.
Blind who joined United in the summer will miss the coming games despite of his return to training. The Dutch midfielder is likely to feature for the first team after two to three weeks.
While yesterday, Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal confirmed the names of the players who will miss the coming game against Newcastle United on the Boxing Day.
Marouane Fellaini, Ander Herrera, Marcos Rojo and Luke Shaw all are set to miss this game. But Defender Chris Smalling is the likely one to be back against the Magpies.
LVG who is now proving himself at Old Trafford will soon be getting free from injury worries. If no one gets injured now then he will have a fully fit squad after a month.
